HP CMS Partner of the Year Awards 2009

At Communications World in Hamburg, Germany, HP announced the winners of its twelfth annual HP CMS Partner of the Year Awards. The awards honor partners in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to HP Software and Solutions and the HP Communications and Media Solutions (CMS) business group during HP's Fiscal Year 2009.

Leveraging its unique ecosystem of partners within this highly competitive industry, HP CMS provides customers with innovative software solutions that are custom tailored and cost effective – and help service providers address new strategic markets. The HP CMS Partner of the Year Awards highlight companies that have excelled in sales, customer support, partnership commitment, innovative solutions building, implementation and joint solution development of HP's CMS Solutions portfolio.

This year's awards are presented at the HP Communications World Conference in Hamburg on 16th–18th December, a flagship EMEA customer and partner event setting out HP strategy for the year ahead. HP Communications World is the premier event for IT professionals in the communications, media, and entertainment industries.

Acision

Acision's innovative real-time, location based charging solution, complemented by HP's OC-FSC software, has enabled Globe Telecom, the leading telecommunications company in the Philippines, to launch the world's first fully convergent solution that works across both fixed and mobile networks for both prepaid and post-paid subscribers. Called Duo, the service enables Globe's mobile subscribers to have a fixed line number associated with their phone, giving unlimited calling within the local number area. HP and Acision's joint solution provided the ability to charge for mobile calls, fixed line calls and "unlimited calls" all within the same platform. Acision is the world's leading messaging company, providing communication solutions for over 300 network operators and service providers globally.

ConceptWave Software, Inc.

ConceptWave has been awarded its second consecutive 'Partner of the Year' award for its unwavering commitment to expanding HP's NGOSS Service Fulfilment capabilities. By utilizing ConceptWave's advanced technology and applications within the NGOSS product, service and order life cycle management domains, HP has combined "best in class" innovation to HP's "best practices". The market has responded with increasing interest as evident by numerous client opportunities as well as positive industry analyst remarks.

Infor

Infor receives the Partner of the Year Award for a successful deployment of Infor CRM Epiphany Outbound Marketing solution within the Customer Intelligence and Billing solution of a major mobile operator in the Adriatic region. To comply with requirements outlined in the RFP, HP proposed a Campaign Management platform with a reference architecture based on the Infor CRM Epiphany 7 Suite, spanning advanced channel integration functionality, complex campaign business logic and fulfillment operations, leveraging on successful installation of the same solution in Turkcell in 2007.

Integrated Telecom Solutions (ITS)

Integrated Telecom Solutions (ITS) is awarded the Partner of the Year Award for their continued success in selling innovative value added solutions based on HP NonStop servers and HP OpenCall Intelligent Network Server (INS). During 2009, ITS has successfully added new customers and has extended penetration of their solution suite throughout their existing installed base in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and North America. ITS provides products and solutions that help mobile operators get the most ROI in highly competitive markets.

Intracom Telecom

We award Intracom Telecom for their strong commitment to the HP NGIN program. Intracom Telecom performed an outstanding job to position HP Next Generation IN within Cosmote Group, along with its innovative Next Generation IN Applications on top of it. This project was closed after a strong and long presales efforts done by Intracom Telecom against incumbent NEPs, complemented by their technological expertise and efficient service delivery mechanism. We would like to thank Intracom Telecom for their continuous efforts to promote and invest on HP's latest innovations.

Mformation Technologies, Inc.

Mformation are a loyal, long term HP partner in the Mobile Device Management (MDM) market. They have reinforced their successful collaboration with HP through the extension of a major project in Western Europe as well as the successful delivery of many other projects in other regions around the world.

In addition, they are recognized for:

• Ongoing innovation in the MDM category including application management, enterprise MDM, WIMAX and LTE
• A healthy funnel during the past year
• Collaboration with HP to develop new business opportunities including Enterprise MDM through Telecoms

The overall HP/Mformation solution covers the end-to-end needs of mobile operators for management of devices.

Quantum Corporation

HP CMS Partner of the Year Award recognises the role that Quantum and its storage management solution, Quantum StorNext has played in driving core storage and server platform business over recent years. Deployed in key CMS solutions worldwide, StorNext provides the highest performance access, whilst managing content across multiple tiers of storage, enabling HP to compete successfully in leading end to end digital workflow projects. The Quantum team have proactively worked with HP in training, providing leads, closing business and partnering at the IBC trade show. HP looks forward to another successful year with Quantum in 2010, as we move further into the digital media solutions and services business.

SAP & Altima

HP jointly awards SAP AG and Altima for their commitment and strong push of the HP Convergent Charging program. SAP and Altima closed the first implementation project, the SAP® Convergent Charging application, within Telekom Slovenia Group in Kosovo (IPKO Telecommunications LLC) which was against one of the leaders in the prepaid market. We strongly believe this project can be replicated within the Telekom Slovenia group and other customers in EMEA thanks to its innovation and value it will bring to customer business!

Symmetricom, Inc.

HP recognizes Symmetricom's achievements in positioning HP SQM for DTV solution with a major service provider in Latin America. Having secured this strategic initial contract will assist Symmetricom and HP CMS with positioning further SQM for DTV solutions in other regions. Working alongside HP teams, they are recognized for the healthy funnel during this past year; and for their demonstrated loyalty by collaborating with HP to develop new business opportunities and supporting HP with their subject matter expertise.
