Erwan's recognition further demonstrates HP's leadership in the telecom industry

Erwan leads HP's Communications and Media Solutions business unit which provides services- and software-rich solutions to Communications and Media companies worldwide. HP solutions are the driving force behind many of today's most innovative communications and media services. Erwan directs the overall business accountability, including sales, consulting and services delivery, product and solutions portfolio management, marketing, strategy, R&D and support.

His diverse global background also includes his leadership experiences prior to joining HP. He served as President Global Support, Alcatel-Lucent Convergence Business Group, in charge of worldwide operations and based in Belgium. Prior to the Alcatel-Lucent merger in 2006, he held various management positions at Alcatel in Malaysia and the USA. In 2004, he was appointed Vice President North America for the Alcatel Mobile Communications Group, establishing Alcatel's Mobile Communications presence in the context of the acquisition of Spatial Wireless.

Ménard holds a Master of Science from Télécom Sud Paris (Instut National des Télécommunications), France
