Overview

HP NGOSS OSS/J Adapters are responsible for exposing a high-level business interface to the business processes and adapting it to the native APIs of the applications. Where the needed high-level business functionality has been defined by the Operations Support System through Java (OSS/J) initiative, HP NGOSS OSS/J Adapters will implement the OSS/J interface.

The HP NGOSS OSS/J Adapters are built to support both the Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) integration profile and the Extensible Markup Language/Java Message Service (XML/JMS) integration profile. In the near future, the adapters will also support the web services integration profile.
