Overview

The HP Service Enablement solution consists of telecom building blocks, including location, messaging, device profile, content download and digital rights. Also, call control with HP Next Generation Intelligent Networks exposes real-time service orchestration, address list management, conferencing and video conferencing.

Service providers like you can expose your assets securely to developers through Parley X and RESTful gateways. This enables developers to compose innovative services using feature servers, thereby simplifying service development, interaction and deployment.

Featured enhancements

Enhanced service enablers make it easier to build new rich Internet applications and services. You can create cost-effective revenue streams on a Web-based platform from any combination of service enablers.

A service orchestration component enables your service workflow to execute services as part of your service factory. HP also provides predefined services that are hosted within the Service Delivery Platform for third-party use. This component can be extended with a context engine. This engine pulls together permissible data acquired from the network, subscriber and IT services. It triggers an action that can be exposed to application developers and integrated to provide more context-aware offerings.
