Global HP Software OpenCall Awards of Excellence

HP is pleased to announce the winners of the first-ever global HP Software OpenCall Awards of Excellence, co-sponsored by Frost & Sullivan. The HP Software OpenCall Awards of Excellence honor telecommunications firms worldwide using HP OpenCall solutions to deliver revenue generating service provider solutions at the best value.

The 2007 winners for the HP Software Awards of Excellence are as follows:

The winning HP OpenCall Software implementations were selected by an independent panel of judges based on the following criteria:

  • Measurable improvement in efficiency, quality, risk mediation, and value to the business.
  • Commitment to drive business through change — demonstrating innovation and outstanding effort in developing new infrastructure architecture or product introduction.
  • Greatest foresight in developing or fostering development of new technology.
  • Demonstrates an innovative approach to an existing aspect of communications networks or services, or opens up an entirely new area.

Consideration was given to the project scale, business critical solution, depth and breadth of HP OpenCall Software solutions, innovation, and integration of functions and tools, which may include third-party technologies.

Winners were recognized during the 2007 HP Software Universe event in Brisbane, Australia.

The HP OpenCall Awards of Excellence is an annual award to be presented at one of the three regional HP Software Universe events. The HP OpenCall Awards of Excellence award presentation will alternate among the three regional events each year.

About the HP Software Awards of Excellence

The award for Excellence in Consolidation honors the service provider using HP OpenCall solutions to integrate new services and reduce costs by leveraging efficient flexible platforms.

The award for Excellence in Innovation honors the service provider using HP OpenCall solutions to support business and revenue goals through new target markets and expanding services within current markets.

The award for Excellence in Convergence honors the service provider using HP OpenCall to optimize resources and enable new services through an evolutionary convergent architecture with improved network and operational efficiency.
