The HP Entertainment & Communities solutions suite uses 3G or IP Multimedia Subsystems (IMS) standards to provide mobile and broadband users with a rich experience by delivering innovative yet simple-to-use, end-user services. The suite—which includes HP Mobile Video Blog, Video Portal, Video Surveillance, and HP Voice-Up—can be deployed in IMS and standalone modes. Additionally, HP Entertainment & Communities solutions are customizable and can be bundled to build communication services fitting your current subscribers' increasingly connected lifestyles, and differentiate your brand to attract new customers.

HP Mobile Video Blog

The HP Mobile Video Blog solution is a mobile video community service connecting the Web with mobile experiences. Through their 3G mobile phones, users can instantly create and upload content, watch, rate, link to existing Web video blogs and share it with friends and social networks. This solution creates new revenue streams for service providers via premium access, advertising and data airtime.

HP Video Portal

With the arrival of next-generation networks, a vast array of new communication services enable service providers to drive rapid returns on network investments. The HP Video Portal solution brings a world of video content, such as sports, celebrity information, video clips, chat, dating and music directly to your subscribers' 3G handsets. It gives on-the-move users access to multimedia video content to review or purchase at their convenience wherever they are. The solution drives subscribers' stickiness and generates new revenue streams through increased 3G airtime, content download, SMS/MMS alerts, advertising and merchandizing.

HP Video Surveillance

The HP Video Surveillance solution enables users to access enhanced real time video content captured by 3G and IP cameras through their mobile phones or PCs — whether at home, in the office, on the move, at security points or potential hazardous locations, any time around the clock. If intruders or unexpected events occur, an alarm is triggered and the user immediately receives a notification prompting action. This solution boosts airtime and monthly fees, attracts premium subscribers and offers extra sources of revenue such as network storage lease and cameras, sensors and digital video recorders resell or lease.

HP Voice-Up

HP Voice-Up application enriches your Web experience with audio annotations that provide a personal description and expression on a topic, photo or video in an animated manner. Users register their voice comment with an IVR and can share their voice-animated photos through MMS. This solution retains subscribers and generates extra usage of data/voice networks, online photo store and sharing sites.
