The Intracom FreePhone (FPH) offering allows service subscribers, such as companies or organizations, to provide their customers and partners with free-of-charge phone access to offered services. This is accomplished via reverse charging.

The offering is based on the use of a single number of no geographical significance. Using routing functions, the service enables service subscribers to accept incoming calls at any location.

Key features

  • One number – every FreePhone service can be reached by using a single number, regardless of the origin of the call or the location where the call will actually connect.
  • Service subscriber validation – when the FreePhone service is triggered, all information about the validity of the specific service and the enabled service features is retrieved.
  • Black list and exception list screening – calls from certain areas or individuals may be banned for a specific service number.
  • Announcement before connection – an initial announcement may be played greeting the user, giving provider or subscriber-related information.
  • Language selection – the user can select a preferred language.

Business benefits

  • Generate additional revenues by addressing a new market segment and by increasing call completion rates.
  • Easily customize features, such as tariff plans, through web-based service management application.
  • Reduce running costs by offering subscribers direct control of part of service administration.
  • Collect statistics to reflect service performance and subscriber satisfaction.
  • Easily deploy new service features as they become available.
