Universal Access Number (UAN) allows a service subscriber to provide its customers with a unique number to access its offices. The offering is based on the use of a single number of no geographical significance. Using routing functions, the service enables the subscriber to accept the incoming calls at any location. UAN is easily customizable to meet specific service provider needs.

Key features

  • One number – every UAN service can be reached by using a single number that is assigned to it, regardless of the origin of the call or where the call will be actually connected.
  • Service subscriber validation – when the UAN service is triggered, all information about the validity of the specific service is retrieved to determine further processing.
  • Black and exception list screening – calls from certain areas or individuals may be banned for a specific service number.
  • Announcement before connection – an initial announcement may be played to greet the user and provide additional information.
  • Language selection – the user can select a preferred language.

Business benefits

  • Generate additional revenue by addressing a new market segment.
  • Customize features, such as tariff plans, easily through web-based service management.
  • Reduce running costs by offering subscribers direct control of certain service administration activities.
  • Collect statistics to reflect service performance and subscriber satisfaction.
  • Easily deploy new service features as they become available.
