The Wireline Prepaid Calling Card (PCC) offering consists of integrated hardware and software components that seamlessly interoperate to form a feature-rich, carrier-grade prepaid solution.

The offering components include the prepaid application, a service control point, an interactive voice response unit, a service management system and an optional voucher management system. PCC can meet the requirements of simple to complex service provider environments.

Key features

  • Abbreviated dialing – a list of abbreviated numbers available to all the PCC service users can be defined.
  • Origin-destination dependent charging – calls may be charged based on the relative distance between the calling and called parties.
  • Time dependent charging – different tariffs can be set for different times of day and types of day (work day, day before holiday and holiday).
  • Value-added services – PCC supports real-time credit monitoring, minimum speech-time thresholds and free-of-charge lists.

Business benefits

  • Generate additional revenue by addressing a new market segment.
  • Eliminate billing costs and improve cash flow.
  • Customize features, such as tariff plans, easily through web-based service management.
  • Collect statistics to reflect service performance and subscriber satisfaction.
  • Easily deploy new service features as they become available.
