A = Administrator: installs and configures HP OpenCall platforms, also defines the monitoring, backup/restore, security and capacity planning procedures. S = Switch Technician: manages the daily monitoring and maintenance of STPs (Signal Transfer Point) and/or MSCs (Mobile Switching Center), therefore requires some knowledge of HP OpenCall hardware and software. O = Operator: performs platform monitoring and executes the procedures defined by the administrator. D = Developer: designs, develops, implements and tests software applications based on HP OpenCall platforms.
