This course provides the student with an understanding of the requirements for the ANSI-41 (formerly IS-41) Home Location Register (HLR) and Authentication Center (AC) network functional entities. Students are introduced to the integrated solutions: Intelligent Network Server, Home Location Register, and Authentication Center. The roles of the HLR and the AC in ANSI-41 network messaging are detailed.

Training will be led by a senior HP consultant with a background in telecommunications, networks and the HP OpenCall NonStop INS platform, and with experience in maintaining and supporting customer sites.
Audience size
Typically, 3-12 participants are present in each class: A minimum of 3 students will be required, and class size is limited to a maximum of 12.
Course location
This course can be delivered both at a Hewlett-Packard site (with HP-supplied facilities and equipment) or on demand at the customer's premises (in which case the customer is responsible for training room setup, including PC video projector, white board, functioning NonStop lab system, or firewall access to an external server).
