This course provides the student with a basic overview of the OpenCall HLR system including the hardware, operating system, communications layer, and application software architecture and functionality. The course is intended as a preliminary view of the entire system hardware and software with the expectation that students will gain more detailed understanding of specific elements by taking additional courses at a later point.

Training will be led by an HP senior consultant with a background in telecommunications, networks and the HP OpenCall NonStop applications and with experience in maintaining and supporting customer sites.
Audience size
Typically, 3-12 participants are present in each class: A minimum of 3 students will be required, and class size is limited to a maximum of 12.
Course location
This course can be delivered both at a Hewlett-Packard site (with HP-supplied facilities and equipment) or on the customer's premises (in which case the customer is responsible for training room setup, including PC video projector, white board, functioning NonStop lab system, or firewall access to an external server).
